Job Description:

Location: Hampton Inn Portland Downtown
Position Type: Non-Management
The starting pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

As a Valet attendant, you will be responsible for assisting guests asthe first point of contact andproviding superior guest service by parking and retrieving vehicles.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements:

- Must have a valid Driver's License and be 21 years of age
- Park and retrieve vehicles while providing great customer service
- Open and close car doors while assisting with luggage or other belongings
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
- Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions
Job Qualifications:

- Knowledge of local roads and routes to area attractions and points of interest
- Having a proper, valid Driver's License and ????a clean driving record
- Highly motivatedteam player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

While performing the duties of this job, theemployee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
