Job Description:
TransForce, a leader in CDL staffing and compliance services, is
currently seeking a reliable CDL B Route Delivery Driver to join
our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for
ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on
specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and
unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service to our
clients. This position requires a committed professional who can
enhance our mission to connect quality drivers with respected
clients, emphasizing safety and efficiency in every transport
executed. Safely operate a truck and trailer using defensive
driving techniques Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and
rules Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck,
sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states Load,
handle and transport materials and cargo safely Inspect vehicles
for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative
maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and
log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll
receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size,
weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as
with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading
or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents, or violations Holder of a valid CDL B
license Proven work experience as a truck driver Ability to drive
long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable
truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to
handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
Ability to handle physical workload Strong organizational and time
management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL B license Current DOT
medical card Must have a clean driving record Hazmat endorsement is
a plus
