We build high-performing teams who take on the largest and most impactful projects for our clients.Position DetailsThe Payroll Administrator oversees all payroll processes for the entire company. This position reports directly to the Payroll Manager and works closely with the Human Resources Manager and IT Team to ensure weekly payroll is expertly managed across the company. Payroll is processed weekly utilizing Workday and ADP. This position may be remote or from any of Tilsons 20+ national offices. RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for timely and efficient processing of company-wide, nationwide payrollMake recommendations on policy and process modifications to senior management as appropriateEnsures compliance and maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state policies and taxesFacilitates management and employee understanding of payroll proceduresOversee the issuance of pay and managing of direct depositsCoordinates with Benefits Specialist to process benefits withholding, payroll deductions, garnishments and leviesFlexible Spending Accounts, submitting weekly reports to the third party administratorOversee preparation of weekly 401k reports for transmittal to companys 401k providerPreparing annual ETIF/PTDZ reports for review by Staff Accountant and Accounting ManagerConduct timely reconciliationsPrepare and lead company through end-of-year payroll processesQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred3-5 years payroll expertise with multi-state payrollWorkday Payroll experience strongly preferredExperience reconciling payroll related accounts and preparing journal entriesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorks successfully with members of a teamDemonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail around process improvementProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with database systemsNo travel expected for this position#LI-REMOTEWe accomplish our mission with a team of experts working collaboratively on meaningful, impactful projects for our clients.
