Job Description:
Summary
The Senior HR Director for MaineHealth Medical Group (MHMG) will
report directly to MaineHealth's Chief People Officer (CPO),
partnering closely with the President of MHMG and the broader MHMG
leadership team. MHMG care team members comprise over 1,000
physicians, nearly 600 advanced practice professionals across
primary and specialty care, and an additional 3,800 staff serving
1.1 million people within our practices across Maine and into New
Hampshire.
The Senior HR Director is responsible for developing and
maintaining a high-quality, comprehensive human resources program
that supports MHMG's and MaineHealth's Vision, Mission, Values, and
Strategic Plan. The results-driven Senior Director will be a
thought partner to leaders on human resources issues, providing
direction and leadership for retention strategies, talent
management and talent acquisition, employee and leadership
development, organizational development, change management,
engagement & culture. This role will partner with centers of
expertise to leverage knowledge and provide strong communication on
all MaineHealth Human Resources policies, procedures, and best
practices, creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive
culture for our care team members and ensuring MaineHealth is an
employer of choice in a competitive market.
The Senior HR Director will partner with the CPO to assess HR
organizational structure, ensuring MHMG and MaineHealth have a
best-in-class HR business partner model. This evolving model will
have up to two direct reports (tbd) responsible for Provider and
Practice support. The Senior Director will effectively manage
direct reports by ensuring they're providing substantial
consultation and partnership to business leaders by using data to
assess business needs and communicate proactively. This role is an
active member of the MHMG Leadership team, Provider Management
Committee, and MaineHealth's Human Resource Council.

consist of over 1,000 physicians and nearly 600 advanced practice
professionals across primary and specialty care providing
coordinated, safe, effective, and high-quality services across the
state of Maine and New Hampshire. A member of MaineHealth (MH), a
not-for-profit health system dedicated to improving the health of
patients and communities by providing high-quality affordable care,
educating tomorrow's caregivers, and researching better ways to
provide care. The MHMG has been created to provide greater
coordination and integration across the continuum of care and
