We are currently seeking a Backend Python Developer due to the growth of our engineering team. The Backend Software Developer will be responsible for building APIs, particularly those that manage and deliver geospatial information. The Backend Software Engineer will also be working with Python, Django, and AWS!

  Job Details
  
  • Must be US citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience developing production APIs, preferably as the owner of a functional area
  • Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostGIS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience developing GIS services
  • Python/Django development experience
  • Cloud platform (AWS preferred) development experience
  • Experience building scalable, high performance services
  • Familiarity with git and Jira as this is what keeps our development sensible
