Job Description:
A company is looking for a SQL Database Engineer (Migration &
Optimization).
Key Responsibilities
Review the existing MSSQL schema from a .bak backup
Collaborate with the development team to understand data
interactions with the new application
Design and implement a new database schema and handle data
migration
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with MSSQL and SQL Server Management Studio
(SSMS)
Proven ability to reverse-engineer and restructure legacy
schemas
Skilled in data migration, scripting, and cleansing
Experience with Azure SQL Database and production-grade setups
Understanding of modern database design principles and indexing
strategies
