We are currently sourcing for a Senior Java/AWS Cloud Developer to work in Merrimack, NH; Durham, NC; or Smithfield, RI!The RoleThe Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) group is looking for highly motivated and accomplished full stack engineering talent with a passion for crafting and delivering software solutions to be part of its diverse, globally distributed team of IT professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of FIs client platforms and offerings.In this role you will use your knowledge of software development, platform integration, and cloud computing develop a diverse suite of applications that support our intermediary (correspondent and advisor) and institutional business. You will be a member of our team collaborating with product management, architecture, engineering, and technology partners to innovate, design, and deliver highly scalable applications and platforms using Agile methodologies.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelors degree in Computer Science or similar field, Masters a plusCurrent, hands-on experience modifying existing UI in React frameworkHands-on development experience with with Java and Python for 7 or more yearsStrong expertise with building Java/Spring Boot RESTful microservices from scratchHands-on experience in application deployment automation and Jenkins pipelinesExperience implementing projects as a team in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)Experience with S3, Route 53, EC2, ECS, API gateway, Cloud Front, Cloud Trail & Lambda development in AWS and MS-Azure or Google Cloud knowledge a plusExperience with relational and NoSQL databases in AWSExperience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker)Experience using source control for feature-driven development in GitHubExperience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries (e.g., Stratum/DX)Familiarity with automated deployment in Jenkins coreExperience in user interface frameworks/platforms (Angular, React, etc.) for 1 or more strongly preferredAbility to learn new things, new technology, and tackle problemsExperience leading various initiatives in support of evolving and growing the Technical Chapter and Chapter AreaDynamic WorkingAt Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call Dynamic Working.
