Job Description: Chapter Leader - Software Engineering (Stock
Plan Services QE) The Purpose of Your Role As a Stock Plan Services
Quality Engineering Chapter Leader, you blend deep knowledge of
quality engineering practices and strong engineering skills with a
passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing associates. You are
deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers.
In an agile structure you will collaborate with other leaders to
establish the standards for your chapter, influence the strategic
decisions and build solutions in your expertise. You will directly
manage a team of chapter members who primarily work within
autonomous squads across product areas yet report directly to you.
You are dedicated to helping them grow and develop in their
knowledge area and ensure alignment on the 'how' of the work they
perform. You are committed to developing your own expertise and
knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role to empower
others with that knowledge. The Experience and Skills that are Key
to this Role Seasoned technical people leader focused on leading,
coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams to accelerate
and achieve increased skill proficiency Deep technical expertise
with confirmed ability to drive technical solutions and automation
frameworks/pipelines such as Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured,
Karate, etc. Investment as an Agile change agent to continuously
improve and encourage an agile way of working Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong
multi-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of
the organization Proven track record as an outspoken peer leader
with peer coaching and strong communications and presentation
skills working on collaborative teams to deliver high quality data
solutions. Uses a data-focused approach to decision making, in
day-to-day leadership and strategic tradeoff analyses Practical
experience with quality engineering fundamentals such as test
automation, data virtualization, and CI/CD integration Authentic
investment in implementing and sustaining quality gates with an
audit and governance approach An intellectual curiosity and passion
to learn new skills and modeling a culture of continuous learning,
mentoring, and coaching Experience resource planning and talent
allocation across large organizations Actively share insights,
knowledge, industry practices and developments across the
organization Proactively partner with Chapter Area, Product Area,
Center of Excellence, and Squad Leaders to: influence strategic
backlog and prioritization decisions related to your area of
expertise measure performance through established objectives and
critical metrics and deliver agreed upon business, technology, and
people results align associates across teams and product areas to
ensure the best utilization of talent while also building learning
opportunities and content to develop skills set and apply standards
and ensure the work performed is aligned with established road maps
remove impediments to delivering value The Expertise and Skills You
Bring 7 years of Technical Excellence: Participate in building the
culture of outstanding software engineering practices for the
modern Cloud platforms Strong Team builder, collaborator, and
partner BS or MS degree in a technical field such as computer
science/engineering or related field Software testing
certifications preferred (ISTQB, CSTE, CAST, ICP-ATA, etc.) The
Team You will be part of a team that works in partnership with
Squad Leaders and other Chapter Leaders aligned to the Workplace
Platforms product area. The teams you will be engaged with are
highly engaged and passionate about collaborating and solving
problems. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile

agile culture. Certifications: Category: Information Technology
