Air Traffic Solutions - Software Engineering Department (ATS-SED)
is looking for talented, experienced Software Engineers to join our
team that is developing and supporting our Air Traffic Control
Systems worldwide, such as STARS, NWP, and the AutoTrac product
lines. Our programs are safety-of-life air traffic management
systems that we have developed for the FAA and international
customers to control and monitor civil and military aviation
traffic. This is an opportunity to learn new COTS tools, processes,
and methodologies as you focus on improving your skills to support,
design, develop, integrate, and test operational software
components throughout the software development lifecycle. What You
Will Do: You will make complex fixes to solve problems or create
significant enhancements in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) product
line software. Update software process documentation and work
instructions needed to meet ATS-SED’s high-maturity software
engineering standards and processes. Participate in
Agile-associated processes and procedures to improve daily
standups, sprint planning, sprint feature development,
retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing while using
the Atlassian tool suite. Work with the software team and
leadership to support cost and schedule in a highly collaborative
team environment, requiring frequent multi-level communication with
other engineering domain team members, program management, and
external stakeholders. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically
requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
or an Advanced Degree in a related field Experience developing
software in a Unix/Linux environment. Experience working across the
full software development lifecycle using C, C++, and Python.
Experience in software testing or debugging source code. Experience
with Agile methodologies. Experience and desire to be a Scrum
Master. Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, ClearCase, Git, and/or
Bitbucket for configuration management and workflow management.

Qualifications We Prefer: Experience developing and debugging C
software in a Unix/Linux environment. Familiarity with CI/CD
pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Proficiency with
scripting languages and tools such as Bash/KornShell and SQL. What

for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
