Job Description Job Description Description: Job Title: Recon Name: Department: New and Used Vehicle Reconditioning Reports To: Amanda Moody Prepared By: Prepared Date: SUMMARY Inspects and services new and used vehicles when they are delivered to the dealer and makes minor repairs or adjustments to ensure the salable condition of the vehicles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspects vehicles for apparent damage and missing major components. Records discrepancies and signs for or otherwise acknowledge an acceptance slip for each vehicle delivered. Washes and polishes the exterior of vehicles. Cleans and vacuums the interior of vehicles. Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection. Fills vehicle with fuel. Applies dressing on tires and tire wells. Maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times. Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window. Removes all window stickers on sold vehicles. Assist with snow removal as required. Keeps work area neat and clean. Operates all tools and equipment safely. Reports any safety issues immediately to management. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right -To - Know etc. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
