Crew Purpose: Hamilton Marine Facilities Associates will help
maintain the physical infrastructure of our properties, along with
maintaining our equipment and vehicles, so they are in good working
order. Delivery Drivers deliver customer orders and inventory to
our stores along established routes across coastal Maine. The work
is very physical, fast-paced, detail oriented, and requires very
early morning hours. A friendly, positive attitude with strong
commitments to teamwork and service are a must. CDL not required!
Prior delivery driver experience is preferred! A clean driving
record a must. The truck is a 26' box truck. Duties and
Responsibilities: Load and unload trucks Drive and deliver products
to customers on established routes. Learn all multiple delivery
routes over time. Deliver orders and stock between store locations.
Provide direct customer service to route customers including
accepting returns and collectingpaymentas needed. Pick
upproductsfrom vendors along route as needed. Utilizing available
tools to make product handling and delivery as safe and efficient
as possible (hand trucks, carts, forklifts, pallet jacks,etc.)
Completing Maintenance and Facilities work orders Daily disposal of
trash, cardboard, etc. from warehouses Moving goods between
warehouse buildings Grounds maintenanceincluding inside building
cleaning Warehouse, office, and store deep cleaningincluding
bathrooms Laborassistancefor Support Operations as needed including
unloading truckloads or containers and forkliftassistance. Other
Duties as needed Required Qualifications: Detailed Oriented.
Ability to workvery earlymorning hours. Age 21 and over. Clean
driving record. Loading and unloading trucks, and direct customer
interactions are common in this position as well as other general
warehouse duties. The work is fast paced and detail oriented. A
friendly, positive attitude with strong commitment to teamwork and
service. Self-motivated. Good at working with their hands.
Willingness to learn and grow with our company. Preferred
Qualifications: Computer experience Some High school Working
Conditions: Work is physically strenuous. Workersare typically
required tolift heavy packages, bend, stoop,utilizeladders
and/oroperateheavy equipment. Truck Driverswillwork on loading
platformsand outdoorswillbe exposed to all kinds of weather
andshouldwear protective clothing. To reduce the risk of accidents,
workersare required tofollow strict safety regulations. Truck
Driversgenerally workabout forty hours a week. Overtime is often
available at premium rates, and the work is usually steady all
year. Ability to sit forlong periodsof time while
drivingdeterminedby length of route and amount of product to be
