Job Description Job Description Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Job Summary: The Yard & Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of the facility by ensuring materials are handled, stored, and moved safely and efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining an organized yard and warehouse, reducing customer wait times, and supporting overall operational flow. The position requires forklift experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast?paced, physical environment. Responsibilities: Load and unload materials for customers, vendors, and internal transfers Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently Inspect, verify, and process incoming materials; enter inventory into the system Stock, organize, label, and replenish inventory in yard and warehouse areas Assist with intercompany transfers, ensuring proper documentation and tracking Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely Keep the yard and warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards Provide excellent customer service to contractors, drivers, and internal teams Communicate with internal teams to support smooth daily operations Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient branch operations and team success. Qualifications: Forklift operation experience required Prior experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or yard operations preferred Knowledge of construction materials preferred Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical work in all weather conditions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision About Superior Product Distributors, Inc.
