Our client, a leading distribution center in the logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated General Warehouse Laborer to join their team. As a General Warehouse Laborer, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: General Warehouse Laborer Location: Enfield, CT Pay Range: $18.00/hr Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm What's the Job? Process UPS and LTL shipments by selecting, palletizing, and packing products according to pick tickets Receive incoming products, count, match, and document in Oracle, and place items in proper inventory locations Assist with loading and unloading trucks using riding pallet jacks, ensuring accurate receipt of products Support inventory control through cycle counts and routine warehouse maintenance Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members What's Needed? Warehouse experience, including inbound and outbound logistics Ability to operate forklift, riding pallet jack, pallet scales, and calculator High school diploma or GED; PC literacy and experience with Oracle preferred Strong reading, writing, and understanding of English Ability to perform physical work and follow safety protocols diligently What's in it for me?
