Job Description:
Marvin, a leader in high-quality custom windows and doors, seeks
an experienced CDL-A Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This
role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our
products across various locations. As a driver for Marvin, you will
be part of a tradition of excellence that dates back to 1912,
playing a key role in our mission to enhance living spaces with our
superior products. Ideal candidates are diligent, reliable, and
committed to upholding the standards of safety and customer service
that Marvin is known for. Operate a tractor-trailer or truck with a
capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Deliver windows and doors to various customer locations across the
region securely and on schedule. Inspect vehicles for mechanical
items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan
routes efficiently and adjust routes to meet customer needs.
Complete logs and reports, following DOT regulations and company
policies. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer
service teams to ensure smooth deliveries. Adhere to company safety
policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Proven
work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and timely delivery of
products. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
Adaptability to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather
conditions etc.). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and
software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.) Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Must meet all Department of
Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements and company
standards.
