Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Associate Job Description The Production Associate is responsible for managing operations and overseeing the safe manufacturing of metal E Rings. The role requires the use of standard measuring devices and gauges, along with the ability to safely operate all manufacturing equipment involved in the process. Responsibilities Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures. Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses. Read and interpret work instructions. Communicate with others on work order status and completion. Perform assembly and inspection tasks. Essential Skills Machine operation Assembly and inspection skills Mechanical inclination Supervisory experience Computer proficiency Ability to read and write English Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma Basic math skills Ability to lift 25 pounds Ability to work in a team environment Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Why Work Here? Work Environment E Ring Associates work collaboratively with Manufacturing Leads and Support. This role reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Employees are required to stand and walk frequently, use hands for operating machines, measuring devices, and computer tasks. Regular attendance and cooperative professional conduct are expected. Shifts include 1st shift (7AM-3:30PM, M-F with potential for OT), 2nd shift (3PM-12AM, M-Th and 3PM-7PM Friday), and 3rd shift (11PM-7AM Sun-Thurs). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
