success. Position Summary The assembly technician will use
mechanical skills and attention to detail to independently and
safely assemble, test and inspect various components according to
customer specifications, internal process documentation and
industry quality standards. Essential Functions · Read and
understand process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets,
operation sheets and all applicable documentation to produce
complex finished product. · Understands the use of various types of
installation tools including standard and electronic torque
wrenches, hydraulic and air press. · Ability to accurately inspect
work utilizing various instruments, including OD & ID indicating
gaging, indicators, micrometers, height stands, verniers,
microscope and functional gages. · Complete Quality/Inspection
documentation, certifying compliance to prescribed work
instructions. · Properly manage inventory of assembled components
by putting/pulling details from storage, building assembly kits and
shadowboxing. · Perform daily TPM responsibilities. · Maintain good
housekeeping practices in work areas. Comply with all company and
safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective
equipment as required. · Actively participate in cross-training,
cost savings and team activities to improve processes. · Maintain
appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team
members and supervisors. Competencies - Skills · Technical capacity
· Quality driven with attention to detail · Fundamental basic
computer skills · Knowledge of FOD Awareness and 6s practices ·
Problem-solving / analysis · Initiative · Team player Experience
and Education · High school diploma or equivalent required. ·
Degree/certificate from vocation school or college program is a
plus, but experience may substitute for education. Supervisory
Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Authorization US Person (Green Card Holder or United States
Citizen) due to government contracts. Compensation $40000 - $100000
/ year Compensation is paid hourly and may be adjusted based on
level of experience, overtime and shift. Aero Gear is committed to
