off Training & development Position Summary The General Production
Floor Employee supports the production of custom cabinetry and
millwork by performing a variety of fabrication, assembly, and
finishing tasks. This role works closely with carpenters, machine
operators, and supervisors to ensure projects are completed
accurately, efficiently, and to high quality standards. Key
Responsibilities Shop Production & Assembly Assist in the
fabrication and assembly of custom cabinets and millwork components
Operate basic woodworking equipment (saws, sanders, drills,
routers, clamps, etc.) Measure, cut, and prepare materials to
specification Assist with cabinet carcass assembly, fitting
doors/drawers, and hardware installation Sand, prep, and finish
components as directed Material Handling Load/unload materials,
deliver stock to workstations Organize, label, and prepare parts
and subassemblies Maintain clean and safe workspace, follow 5S/lean
principles when applicable Quality & Accuracy Inspect parts for
defects or inaccuracies Read and follow shop drawings, cut lists,
and work orders Report issues or discrepancies to supervisor or
lead craftsman Safety & Shop Maintenance Follow all shop safety
procedures and PPE requirements Assist in daily cleanup, equipment
checks, and general shop organization Support preventative
maintenance efforts when assigned Qualifications Experience 1 year
experience in carpentry, cabinet fabrication, woodshop, or related
trade preferred (willing to train motivated candidates) Skills
Basic understanding of woodworking tools and equipment Ability to
read a tape measure and perform basic math Strong attention to
detail and craftsmanship mindset Ability to follow work
instructions and collaborate in a team setting Physical
Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, and
move throughout shop for extended periods Comfortable operating and
being near machinery and hand tools Personal Attributes Strong work
ethic and reliability Eager to learn and grow in the woodworking
trade Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
Takes pride in producing quality craftsmanship Work Schedule &
Environment Full-time, on-site role in a custom cabinet
manufacturing shop Standard shop hours (may require overtime based
on project timelines) Production environment with sawdust,
machinery noise, and physical activity Growth & Development
