Job Description Job Description Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Londonderry, NH to bring on a Production Planning / Customer Service professional on a temporary basis. This role is needed immediately, with the goal of scheduling interviews next week. This assignment has the potential to last up to one year, based on business needs and performance. This position is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable working cross-functionally. Position: Production Planning / Customer Service Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $35.00 per hour Duties / Responsibilities Production Scheduling & Order Management • Schedule customer orders in the most economical manner while ensuring material availability • Enter and manage production orders and work orders • Enter daily production reports • Manage EDI customer orders for finished goods • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Customer Service on machine issues, downtime, preventative maintenance, and impacts to customer commitments and OEE Inventory Management • Perform cycle counts and resolve negative inventory discrepancies • Manage customer-owned inventory and finished goods • Review bills of material (BOMs) for finished goods SKUs and submit updates as needed • Partner with Plant Accounting to resolve material usage variance discrepancies Continuous Improvement & Communication • Proactively prevent quality issues, production interruptions, and delays through cross-functional communication • Execute surveys, collect statistical data, and assist with evaluations as directed • Keep purchasing teams informed on supplier status and efficiency • Maintain accurate documentation and records Purchasing Support • Assist with establishing and maintaining a cost-effective supplier base • Support supplier negotiations related to pricing, sourcing, and quotations • Assist with supplier list maintenance and consolidation • Issue stock and non-stock purchase orders in accordance with company policy • Maintain procurement documentation including quotes, price lists, and quality records Qualifications • Prior experience in production planning, scheduling, customer service, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment • Strong understanding of production scheduling and inventory management • Experience working cross-functionally with production, quality, accounting, and purchasing teams • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office If you are interested in this position, please apply using the link provided and be sure to include an updated resume.
