Overall management of the Company's equity-based compensation program, including compliance, reporting, internal accounting and record-keeping, and the administration of ongoing equity transactions. Works closely with our private equity firm, legal counsel, finance department, and others to ensure all equity transactions are properly processed and appropriate tax and regulatory filings are accurate and timely.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of global equity compensation programs, including the issuance of equity awards, monitoring equity transactions, vesting events, and various reporting
  • Process, manage and track new issuance, shares outstanding, and shares available
  • Maintain the equity database integrity and ensure accuracy of record keeping
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of records between equity database and general ledger, HR, payroll, and tax reporting
  • Prepare and maintain procedural documents for all equity administration processes, including audits
  • Play an integral role in the year end compensation process by driving the compilation of accurate equity compensation reporting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of laws and regulations related to equity compensation in the countries in which we grant
  • Work with internal and external auditors and finance team for quarterly reviews and year-end audits as needed
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and HR departments to ensure accurate budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with all regulations for Emburse's Long-Term Incentive Plan
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns related to equity
  • Develop and deliver equity-related education materials and other employee communications
  • Participate in other compliance program development, as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar field
  • 3-5 years' experience working in global equity administration
  • Understanding of accounting standards relating to equity compensation
  • Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation is highly preferred
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification is highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, math, and negotiation skills; ability to successfully perform independent in-depth analysis and present findings
  • Strong Excel skills, ability to leverage complex formulas and modeling
  • Excellent follow-up skills and operates with a sense of urgency
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Possess strong technological skills
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and Google Suite
  • Accountable, resourceful, detail-oriented
  • Ability to self-manage competing priorities successfully and work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
