Responsible for the handling, routing, pick-up and delivery activities of mail operation and the assignment & participation of tasks involving all activities; performs related duties as required.Key Responsibilities: MailDeliver all newspapers in the morning to all employees Distribute all UPS/FEDEX/MESSENGER packages to employees on the assigned floors in a timely manner-Ensure that all accountable packages are signed for Stock copy areas with all the required paper sizes (8.5x11, 8.5x14, 11x17) and shipping supplies accordinglyEnsure both FedEx and Messenger Authorization forms are available for useRoutinely check blue bins for outgoing packages, send to the mailroom for processing. At the end of the day flip bins to indicate last sweep has been completed. SIGN LOG SHEET. Hospitality Make sure all conference room chairs are pushed in and tables are wiped down.Remove all trash from conference rooms Dust off all equipment accordinglyDispose of all trash and break down all boxes and remove off the floor (place in freight area when available)Be sure to wipe down the conference room tables and push chairs in and remove all trash.Housekeeping PantryStock all Coffees, Teas, Sweeteners, and Milks Etc.Discard any expired milk accordingly.Ensure all utensils are always available - Cups, Lids, Spoons, Forks, Knives, Stirrers Dish Soap, Hand Soap, C-Fold Napkins, Hand towels, Plates Etc. Swiffer the wood floor in the elevator lobby and pantry areasEnsure 409 and Magic Easers are available on the floors for employees to utilize.Make sure all machines are working properly in the panty. (Coffee, Water and Ice Machine)RestroomsStock restrooms with the following:Toilet paper, C-folder napkins, soap dispensers are full, hand soap is available where required. Ensure restroom is always clean and neat Ensure all equipment functions properly in the restroom, sensors, toilets, urinals and sinksWipe down counters for spillsFacilities Check the floor for any burnt-out light bulbs- Replace when necessary Make sure all access doors are closed at all timesLight painting when requiredFix furniture when neededMove boxes when requested via office requestSet up conference rooms when required-after office ticket is submittedBreak down showroom when require-after office ticket is submittedReport any issues that require third party handy work to managementAssist Executive assistants with request when requiredWork with MK floor ambassador to ensure floor is always neat and cleanBe able to lift 25-35lb boxesCompetencies:Results orientedDriven by client satisfactionStrong integrity, solid business ethics Excellent presentation and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExpert in customer service skills, professional attitude and appearanceGood organizational skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityAttention to detail.Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate informationAble to convey information and ideas through speech in ways that others will understandAble to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentencesAble to speak clearly so listeners understand, identify and understand the speech of another personVisual acuityStrong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervisionBe personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional settingFlexibility in dealing with simultaneous projectsQualifications:3 - 5 years prior experience in within hospitality/ facility / property management preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionallyManagement System preferred.High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to learn skills quicklyWorking knowledge of Microsoft products pertaining to the specific position including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel etc.Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills requiredPhysical Demands:Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of timeManual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.)Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequentlyTravel: No travel required.Other Duties:This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
