About The Opportunity

ClearGov is searching for a designer to join our growing team and help shape the future of our product experience. You will work extensively with the product, marketing, customer service, and engineering teams to understand our user base and work to improve business needs, related requirements, and technical constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the senior designer in building and documenting an enterprise style and pattern component platform (design system).
Create visual and interactive prototypes through collaboration with product managers and engineers
Contribution across multiple projects at one time
Create graphic assets and contribute to the design system in rapid iterations
Ensure designs are inclusive and meet accessibility requirements
Follow brand guidelines and transform them into visual and component designs, interactions, data visualization, and testable prototypes
Collaborate with other members of the product team, create holistic design solutions that address business and user needs, and test ideas to quickly assess the viability
Assist in creating well-thought-out interfaces with smooth and intuitive interactions
Communicate conceptual ideas and rationale clearly to generate high-quality feedback
Work closely with product and customer success managers to ship the best possible product within given scope and constraints.

Critical Skills/Experience:
1-3 years of experience
A portfolio of UI product design work
Strong visual design skills (layout, typography, color theory, etc.)
Proficiency in Figma including interactive prototyping
Understand the principles of user-centered design, usability heuristics, and iterative design process
