As a Client Strategist, you're always looking for opportunities to
inspire your team and help your clients achieve their goals. At all
times you have a pulse on the competition and have a clear
understanding of how your client's business fits into the market.
Your internal team trusts you to understand every "why" behind
every "what." You're eager to find nuggets of inspiration to fuel
creative work, and you understand this can come from a variety of
unexpected sources. More than anything, you embody the VIA

and you're excited to make your impact in the advertising
What You'll Do
Partner with your POD (Project Manager, Client Strategist, Planner,
Creative) to develop advertising strategies based on audience
analytics, competitive insights and market research. Clearly
communicate those strategies to your clients and internal team.
Manage day-to-day account maintenance, including sharing
competitive alerts, presenting new work and tracking the progress
of ongoing projects to clients.
Become a wealth of knowledge on your brands, their competitors and
our industry. Develop clear perspectives on these findings, their
business impact, and how they translate into opportunities for your
clients and the agency. Regularly send these out as written
Be an active partner in conversations with your client and other
agency partners. Always have an understanding of how your internal
team can collaborate with your client's team to ultimately add
strategic and creative value to your client relationship.
Build strategic foundations that contextualize and strengthen
creative work during presentations to your client. Have a clear
understanding of how the strategy comes to life in creative
Work to train your clients to dive deep into clear feedback that's
based on the strategic objectives of the work. Push to understand
and deliver a clear "why" to your internal team.
Take detailed notes during meetings that capture next steps and
decisions made. Develop these into organized conference reports for
both your clients and internal team.
Partner with your Project Manager on timelines, deliverables and
budgets, and ensure that clients' expectations are managed
Who You Are
You either have either work experience or an educational background
in advertising, marketing and/or client services
You're unafraid to bring your fresh perspective to the table, and
value hearing perspectives that are different from your own
You're an enthusiastic and responsible teammate
