Approximately 1 in 10 patients worldwide are affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD), many of whom experience the complication of anemia which currently leaves them with symptoms that can dramatically reduce quality of life and increase risk of cardiovascular disease, hospitalization and mortality. At GSK, we are following the science of anemia to better understand how to help these patients, who are often undiagnosed and undertreated. GSK is proud to be expanding our team working on CKD in the US and we are seeking experienced and passionate professionals to join our exciting journey. Daprodustat belongs to a new class of medicines that is being investigated to treat anemia in CKD patients. If approved, Daprodustat has the potential to be a new oral treatment for patients with anemia due to CKD in both non-dialysis and dialysis settings.

• Perform all required duties in assigned territory in accordance with the expectations indicated in the Selling Ways, promoting alignedproducts within Specialty sellingteam.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with (but not limited to) nephrology, cardiology, primary care, and pharmacy staff, withinassignedaccounts
• Proactively decide on activities, educational programs as well as HQ-approved resources needed to effectively pull through the identifiedsales opportunities with targeted customers and other key stakeholders in territory/accounts.
• Analyze sales information and recommend actions to maximize opportunities aligned to brandstrategy.
• Develop and implement effective customer specific territory plans; provide relevant, thoughtful input to other commercial colleaguesregardingstrategic and tactical planning for territory, area, andregion.
• Identify and recommend solutions or refer to matrix partners (as appropriate) for product-related issues that arise in the accounts(reimbursement issues, distribution issues)
• Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity andpotential.
• Have long standing relationships with key customers and an in-depth knowledge of the disease state, key drivers, influencers, andprescribing patterns in theirterritory
• Meet or exceed established expectations for account / call activity and time interritory.

    Basic Qualifications:
    
    • Bachelor'sDegree
    • Minimum 7 years pharmaceutical sales experience
    • Proven track record of consistent high performance
    • A valid driver's license and safe driving record
    • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight travel
      Preferred Qualifications:
      
      • Advanced degree
      • Product launch experience
      • 4+ years of experience in nephrology and/orcardiovascular and/or diabetes
      • Localrelationships with Nephrologists
      • Experience developing, implementing, executing,and measuring success with accounts and formularydecisions
      • Strong analytical and computer skills
