Description:KVCAP Child & Family Services has an opening for full-time Early Childhood Supervisor at Skowhegan Early Head Start.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to and foster growth of classroom teaching teamsAssure programmatic needs of children and families are met through family centered servicesProvide leadership and coordination of education programs for children ages 0-3Facilitate interdisciplinary work and collaboration among education program/staff and other program areas/staffPromote a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvementBenefitsPaid holidaysAccrual of paid time offEmployer sponsored retirement planHealth, life, dental/vision, and disability insurance optionsProfessional Development supportAdditional $200 per month through August 2023Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Early Care & Education or related field (Master's preferred)5 years paid experience in Early Care and Education (birth-age 5) with 3 years of experience in a leadership roleAble to meet requirements of agency & State of Maine Child Care Licensing regulations for background checks, fingerprinting, and physical examsDemonstrate strong interpersonal, communication (written & verbal) and documentation skills, critical thinking skills, proficient computer skills, and group management skillsPossess a valid driver's license and have use of a vehicle insured to state of Maine requirementsAbility to travel out of stateMust be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (or obtain an exemption) per federal Head Start regulationsPI207124480
