Position Purpose

Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.

What you will do

* Perform complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions


* Verify insurance requirements


* Obtain and understand insurance benefits


* Ensure that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are


* Collect non-covered fees



Minimum Qualifications

* Minimum High school or equivalent


* One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred


* Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances



Position Highlights and Benefits

* Full time 40 hours rotating shifts-- shift and weekend differentials will apply


* Every other weekend day shift; weekdays are three evenings (3p-11:30p) and one swing shift (11:30a-8p) on a two week rotating schedule
