Job Description:
Administrative Trainee State of Connecticut Judicial Branch
Wethersfield The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a
qualified individual for the position of Administrative Trainee in
the Office of Victim Services - Communications Unit. The successful
candidate will be responsible for the following tasks: Contributing
to the development of written communications materials, including
presentations, reports, website content, brochures, and posters.
Presenting information publicly to criminal justice professionals
and stakeholders in trainings, presentations, and community
outreach events. Designing charts, tables, graphics, and
presentation layouts that communicate analysis and information. The
successful candidate must have good written and oral communication
skills, comfort with speaking publicly about victim issues, good
interpersonal skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite
especially PowerPoint, and have knowledge of trauma-informed
services and advocacy. In-state travel will be required. Salary
Range: $66,558 - $85,778/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.
New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for
existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in
accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy. The State of
