marketing, business development, and architecture and engineering
to craft high-quality marketing materials, digital campaigns, and
pursuit strategies, directly impacting our business development and
promotional influence. What our Pursuits Coordinators do: Write and
edit a variety of marketing materials, including project
descriptions, employee resumes, case studies, award submissions,
social media posts, and other content, ensuring adherence to AP
Stylebook and SMRT style guidelines. Develop proposals,
qualifications, and presentations, ensuring they align with AP
Stylebook and SMRT style guidelines. Serve as the resident DAM
power-user and a key resource for portfolio and resume inquiries,
as well as data entry and extraction. Attend project milestone
events, conferences, local media events, civic and professional
group meetings, industry trade associations, and community
activities to represent SMRT. Support the marketing managers in
planning, scheduling, and coordinating the proposal preparation
process, working closely with market sector leaders (MSLs) and
principals. Collaborate with marketing managers to maintain and
update standard templates for department-wide use. Coordinate
client presentation kick-off meetings and create supporting
documents for presentation rehearsals, including PowerPoint slides
and printed materials. Lead the development and delivery of
materials for competitive pursuit activities throughout all stages
of the sales lifecycle and coordinate follow-up activities. Support
campaign efforts and assist in managing and updating web content.
Help train and mentor entry-level marketing staff. What WE have to

Requirements: Skills you need to be successful in this role: Strong
writing, editing, and proofreading skills Self-confident with
excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills Critical
thinker and problem solver Able to thrive under pressure and meet
strict project deadlines Capable of multi-tasking and managing a
variety of materials at various stages of development. Able to work

demonstrate a spirit of helpfulness Self-starter and team player
Experience with CRM, DAM, and other data management software such
as Deltek and OpenAsset preferred Advanced knowledge in Microsoft
365 Suite, including PowerPoint Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
(InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Wordpress Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or
related field Minimum 2-4 years of professional marketing
experience, preferably in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction
industry. Active membership in SMPS, preferred. Ability to travel
