Job Description Job Description Sched ule: Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Job Summary: As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be assisting our customers with their hardscape, contractor’s equipment and supplies, instrument and survey, as well as their site material needs, including but not limited to, concrete accessories, masonry supplies and sewer and storm products. Responsibilities: Ensure all customers receive excellent customer service in an efficient, timely, professional, and respectful manner. Answer customer questions about merchandise and assist with purchase decisions. Assist with sales registers, including cash and credit handling. Ensure the showroom and display areas are stocked, organized, cleaned, and presented in a professional manner on a daily basis. Direct contact for all product sales, qualifying the customer needs while also providing Superior service and vendor interactions. Demonstrate and explain merchandise, select and suggest options suitable for customer’s needs. Transfer material between branches for stock. Coordinate with other branches on material transfer and timing for customer needs. Direct contact for all equipment sales, qualifying the customer needs while also providing Superior service and vendor interactions. Direct responsibility for ensuring the Equipment and Power Tools showroom and display areas are organized, signed, cleaned and presented in a professional manner daily. Point person for handling equipment customer inquiries from the internet, online shopping cart, internal and external communications and follow up. Qualifications: Knowledge of hardscapes/landscaping and equipment sales/rentals, construction, water sewer and storm products, concrete accessories, masonry supplies. Sales experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Manages and prioritize tasks and projects. Competent problem-solving skills. Team-oriented. Shows initiative in all aspects of the role. Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work. High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred. About Superior Product Distributors, Inc.
