Job Description Job Description We're seeking a skilled individual with an electrical or electronics background for a part time role. Position would be trained on how we commission our proprietary self-contained fire suppression system located in Newington, CT. Forecasted work schedule would be around 25 hours a week and every other week. (45-55 hours a month) Additional hours could be allocated if the individual is willing to travel domestically and outside the USA. Responsibilities: Independently perform commissioning of self-contained fire suppression systems. Ensures connectivity to heat and smoke detectors within the enclosure and outside the enclosure. Ensures fire alarm pull stations are connected and functioning. Reads and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately troubleshoot any issues as connectivity and overall commissioning is completed. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with Low or High voltage electrical or electronics experience. Experience in fire alarm industry beneficial, but not required. Willingness to learn our procedures to properly commission the fire suppression system. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively.
