Job Description:
Are you handy, dependable, and reliable? We're seeking a
motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Claremont, NH.
Responsibilities include general repairs, upkeep, and ensuring a
safe and functional environment for all of our locations spanning
Sullivan and lower Grafton counties. Responsibilities may include:
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, minor
plumbing repairs. Maintaining grounds and landscaping (if
applicable). Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Identifying and reporting maintenance needs or safety hazards.
Assisting with setting up and breaking down for events as needed.
Following safety procedures and protocols. Other related duties as
assigned. Qualifications: A High School diploma or equivalent is
necessary. Proven experience in general maintenance or a related
field is preferred. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong
problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Flexible
with scheduling to meet regular and emergency agency needs. Good
communication skills. Physical ability to perform required tasks,
including lifting and standing for extended periods. Must be able
to lift up to 30lbs regularly. Valid driver's license, proof of
insurance, and reliable transportation necessary. (a maintenance
van is available for use as well) Background Checks required. We
offer PTO, holidays, and a 403(b) plan for part-time employees.
