Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A temporary
opportunity is available for a School Social Worker to provide
essential support at a high school in Andover, MN. This contract
position is designed to cover a maternity leave, starting at the
end of February and continuing through the conclusion of the
20252026 school year. The role involves working closely with
students, staff, families, and community partners to address
social-emotional needs and promote student well-being. Key
Responsibilities: Provide social-emotional support and crisis
intervention to high school students Address attendance challenges
and promote positive student engagement Collaborate with teachers,
school counselors, administrators, families, and external agencies
to develop and implement support plans Monitor student progress and
maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
Advocate for student needs within the school and community
environments Qualifications and Experience: Valid Minnesota School
Social Worker license (LGSW, LISW, or LICSW as required by the
district) Minimum of 2 years experience working in school settings
preferred Strong ability to work independently and as part of a
multidisciplinary team Comfortable supporting adolescents in a
public school environment Commitment and availability to cover the
full length of the assignment through the end of the 20252026
school year Location: High school setting in Andover, Minnesota
