Located in Oxford, MI, this contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential social-emotional support to students within a school setting. The role focuses on working directly with general education studentsindividually and in groupsas well as offering support to classrooms and buildings. Contributions may include professional learning initiatives and implementing positive behavior programs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individual and group social-emotional support to general education students Collaborate with educators to support classroom environments and school-wide initiatives Facilitate professional learning and implement positive behavior programs as needed Qualifications: Masters degree required Current LARA license is mandatory (licensed masters level social worker, psychologist, school psychologist, marriage and family therapist, or professional counselor) Acceptable credentials include: Licensed Masters Level Social Worker or School Social Worker Licensed Masters Level Psychologist Licensed Masters Level Marriage and Family Therapist Licensed Masters Level Professional Counselor Licensed Bachelor Level Social Worker enrolled or intending to enroll in an advanced licensing program within 24 months Valid school counseling licenses or credentials with plans to meet LARA licensure requirements within 24 months Ability to work collaboratively in educational settings and adapt to student needs This position demands a dedicated professional passionate about advancing mental health and well-being in educational environments.
