Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Case Manager/Coordinator
position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12
school located in Barre, VT. This contract role will begin as soon
as possible and tentatively ends on June 19, 2026, following the
school calendar, with 37.5 hours per week. The role focuses on
managing a caseload of approximately 45 students across two grade
levels, supporting their Individualized Education Program (IEP)
implementation without providing direct instructional services. The
coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with
special education requirements while collaborating closely with
educators and service providers. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as
the primary case manager for around 45 students across two grades -
Coordinate and lead IEP meetings, evaluations, and re-evaluations -
Write, maintain, and ensure compliance of student IEPs while
tracking progress and meeting timelines - Collaborate regularly
with a dedicated team of teachers, service providers, and staff
working with these students - Maintain ongoing communication with
staff and families regarding student goals, progress, and concerns
- Analyze academic and behavioral data to contribute to effective
IEP development and decision-making - Support the implementation of
accommodations and modifications in accordance with students needs
Desired Qualifications: - Valid Vermont Special Educator licensure
is required - Previous experience with virtual Vermont SPED case
management/coordinator duties is essential - Strong skills in case
management, IEP compliance, and documentation - Exceptional
organizational and communication abilities - Ability to effectively
collaborate within a focused team environment This opportunity is
