Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Summary We are looking for a
full-time person to join our team of dedicated teachers. We are
looking specifically for someone interested in working with
4-year-olds in the kindergarten readiness program. We are a small
family orientated childcare center that strives to provide a place
children enjoy coming to as well as meet milestones. Duties A
teacher must be able to care for the children's daily needs such as
implementation of lesson plans, providing meals and accommodating
special needs. A teacher will implement a daily curriculum that
assists children in reaching their developmental goals. Teachers
assist co-teachers with various needs such as preparing artwork,
lesson planning, and organizing classroom events. Cleaning
activities will be performed throughout the day such as vacuuming,
mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing the classroom. Requirements Prior
to starting must complete fingerprints, background check and an
adult medical form. Must be able to lift children and sit down on
the floor with them. Must be 18 years of age or older and have a
high school diploma/ GED. An employee must be able to be on their
feet for an extended period. Employees may need to be able to work
for periods of 8 to 11 hours a day. Nice To Haves Experience with
children is recommended. Early childhood degree preferred but not
required. Benefits Full time teachers earn vacation time, sick time
and paid holidays as well as bonuses. 401 is also available for
full time staff.
