(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

Language Interpreter to support communication needs within an
educational setting. This role involves working directly with
students, educators, and staff to facilitate effective
communication through American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation.
Key Responsibilities: Provide clear and accurate sign language
interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school
events Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure full
participation of deaf or hard-of-hearing students Assist in
creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment Travel
between school locations as required to support multiple
educational sites Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign
Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills Experience working
within a school or educational setting preferred Excellent
communication and interpersonal abilities Flexibility to travel
within the region as part of job duties Location:This position is
based in South Portland, ME, with travel required to various nearby
