Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An established elementary school in Plainfield, IL, is
seeking multiple Special Education professionals for the upcoming
school year. These full-time positions provide a rewarding
opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a
nurturing environment. The roles are currently open for
contract-to-hire arrangements, allowing educators to demonstrate
their skills with the potential for long-term placement. Openings
include: Resource Teacher for 7th grade Self-contained Special
Education Teacher Resource Teacher for Kindergarten through 5th
grade (two openings) Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique
needs of each student Collaborate with classroom teachers,
administrators, and families to promote academic progress and
social development Utilize specialized instructional strategies and
assistive technologies to enhance student learning Monitor and
document student performance, adjusting instruction as needed to
ensure growth Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
that encourages student engagement and self-advocacy Desired
Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification
Experience in resource and self-contained classrooms preferred
Strong knowledge of individualized instructional methods and
behavior management techniques Ability to work collaboratively
within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and
organizational skills Location: Elementary school setting in
Plainfield, Illinois Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, from
ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) This opportunity
