valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1 years Teaching
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This part-time Health &
Physical Education teaching position offers an opportunity to
instruct K-12 students across multiple school districts in Lehigh
County, PA. The role focuses on promoting physical fitness, health
literacy, and overall wellness through engaging, developmentally
appropriate lessons. Location: Catasauqua, Parkland, and Salisbury
School Districts in Lehigh County, with the IU main office based in
Schnecksville, PA Contract Term: ASAP through June 12, 2026
(tentative, aligned with the school calendar) Schedule:
Approximately 20 hours per week, 3 days per week Caseload: K-12
classrooms Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver Health and
Physical Education lessons aligned with state standards Encourage
physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, and healthy
lifestyle habits Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom
environment Adapt instruction methods to accommodate diverse
student needs and abilities Assess and monitor student progress,
providing constructive feedback Maintain classroom and equipment
safety standards Collaborate with school staff and maintain
communication with families as appropriate Qualifications and
Experience: Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Health
& Physical Education PK12 or Physical Education PK12 Bachelors
degree in Health, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related field
Demonstrated ability to engage and support students physical,
social, and emotional development This role offers a valuable
