Job Description Job Description Mancan Staffing in partnership with a Geneva facility who is in search of a Maintenance Technician-Electrical for a Direct Hire Opportunity! 1st Shift | $35$45/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Flexible 1st shift 7:00am4:00pm or 8:00am5:00pm Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician Electrical is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems. This role requires strong electrical expertise, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities * Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment * Perform root cause analysis to identify and correct equipment failures * Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, and parts lists * Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems * Work with and repair complex, high-power automated machinery, including PLCs, control circuits, and 480V 3-phase systems * Inspect equipment routinely to ensure proper operation and efficiency * Follow established PM schedules and maintenance procedures * Report equipment issues, irregularities, and maintenance needs to supervision * Operate cutting torch and welding equipment as needed * Maintain and repair facility structures (interior and exterior) * Maintain clean and organized work areas * Follow all lockout/tagout procedures and perform work safely at all times * Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and work standards Qualifications * Minimum 10 years of comprehensive electrical maintenance experience * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills * Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred * Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and high-voltage equipment * Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation * Customer service mindset and strong communication skills Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency offers our temporary employees full benefits such as paid vacation, holidays, 401K, as well as vision, dental, and medical.
