Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work on a 29-bed medical surgical telemetry unit /n• Maintain 6:1 patient ratio /n• Every other weekend scheduling requirement /n• May be asked to float to other units as needed /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Must have dysrhythmia skills and at least 1 year of acute care experience /n• Work with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry equipment /n• Use Meditech Expanse documentation system /n• LNA support available, no unit secretary /n• Participate in bedside care conferences and safety rounding /n• Dress code: Clean and professional appearance, no specific scrub color required /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a comprehensive medical surgical telemetry unit that provides specialized cardiac monitoring and acute care services.
