Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel LTC/SNF 1 years exp required Shift Notes 7P-7A Unit Overview - Type of Facility: LTC, SNF, Acute Rehab, Residential Care (Assisted Living) - Number of Beds/Residents: 38 - EMR: My Unity Staffing & Ratios - RN/LPN Ratios: - Days: 1:19 - Nights: 1:38 - Required Certifications: BLS Patient Population / Common Diagnoses - Typical LTC/SNF patients: CHF, COPD, post-surgical - Interdisciplinary team: PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians Job Duties - Admissions and discharges - Medication administration and treatments - Care for PICC lines, G-tubes, wound vacs (IV certification required for LPNs) Management & Physician Support - DON / Charge Nurse / House Supervisor: Clinical Specialist M-F, 8 hours; evenings handled by team lead - Physician availability after hours: On-call - RT on-site 24/7: No – nurses provide treatments - Pharmacy / Med dispensing: Off-site Shifts & Scheduling - Shift length: 12 hours (6:45–7:15) - Scheduling: Manager assigns, attempts to honor traveler requests (short staffing may require flexibility) - Weekend requirement: Every other - Holiday requirement: Rotate with permanent staff - Call / Standby: No - Floating requirement: Yes, may float within LTC, SNF, Acute Rehab, Residential Care Unit Dress Code - Scrubs: Lime Green and Black (travelers must have at least some green visible) - CNAs: Blue Orientation - General orientation: Travelers skip day 1, attend days 2–3 - Unit-specific orientation: 3 days - Night shifts: 1 day orientation during day shift, 2 days on nights Infection Control - Separate COVID Unit: No - PPE: N95 - COVID Vaccine: Required (Maine state mandate by Oct 1st) About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
