Job Description Ophthalmology Medical Director Opening in Maine * Located in *Presque Isle * * Full-time, permanent opening hospital-employed positionHospital is seeking an experienced, BC/BE Ophthalmologist - Medical Director to lead our well-established and growing practice in Presque Isle, Maine. This hospital-employed position combines clinical practicewith leadership responsibilities, offering the unique opportunity to provide oversight and guidance to a team of top-notch providers. With three other hospital-employed physicians in the practice, we provide general ophthalmology, glaucoma, and medical retina care to a large population of patients in the Northern Maine area.Position Highlights: A full ancillary support staff (including scribes and ophthalmology assistants) 1 day of OR, 4 days of clinic Full clinical call team to assist in call coverage after hours Trauma volume is low Full procedure room and internal radiology service on-siteOffer Highlights: Competitive base salary plus incentives 41 days of paid time off annually Relocation and sign-on bonuses Retirement plans with employer matching Generous educational loan reimbursement program, with no maximum Annual CME allotmentAbout the Hospital:We are an 89-bed acute care hospital located near the Canadian border in Presque Isle, Maine.
