lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing
complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated
circuits or microchips. This position is for a First Line Support
Production Engineer to work in the Production Engineering
department in Wilton Factory, CT. The candidate will work with
cross-sector employees & teams to provide rapid responses to
resolve engineering disturbance notices related. In addition, the
candidate will perform engineering steps listed in the production
operator dashboard (POD) to support output.Work Schedule:
Compressed Work Week Day 2 (CWW D2) schedule that works from 6am to
6pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.Job
DescriptionSpend about 75% of time in the Cleanroom providing
direct support to production processes and
troubleshootingTroubleshoot metrology issues in a timely &
efficient mannerTroubleshoot module test and final qual issues in a
timely & efficient mannerTroubleshoot manufacturing tooling and
optical metrology equipment issues in a timely & efficient
mannerRun image processing algorithms to extract nm scale flatness
information from interferometric dataAnalyze MATLAB scripts and
plot data from existing databasesSupport image analysis on data and
derive conclusionsDevelop OCAPs, Fishbones and troubleshooting
guidelinesSupport diagnostics qualification and implementation for
production staffEvaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed
solutionsSupport development of Manufacturing procedures and
technical work instructionsSupport design and document reviews for
diagnosticsSupport DOA Root Cause AnalysisSupport cycle time and
labor hours roadmaps implementationSupport PFMEAAble to read
optical, mechanical and electrical drawingsKnowledge of MATLAB,
LabVIEW and Python is a plusThe employee is required to work in a
cleanroom environment:full gowning (full body coveralls, hood, CR
safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves and safety glasses. Working
under ISO 9000/14000 standards).Working around overhead cranes,
fork trucks and motorized pallet movers.Working around lasers;
working with ladders; working on platforms; and working around
chemicals.Education & Work ExperienceMaster Degree in Optics,
Photonics, Optical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer
Science, or Other Technical Engineering Degree with Co-op or
Internship experience in a production environment.Bachelor Degree
in Optics, Photonics, Optical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics,
Computer Science, or Other Technical Engineering Degree with 2+
years experience in a technical production environmentAdditional
Skills & Work ExperienceAbility to be hands-on and work in a
dynamic fast-paced environmentWorking Knowledge in image/signal
/data process algorithm, statistics and software developmentWorking
knowledge of geometric optics, wave optics, Gaussian propagation,
and aberration theory, and interferometry is a plusWorking
knowledge with optical assembly / alignment / test equipment /
toolsWorking Knowledge in lasers, polarization, detectors,
electro-optical devices and opto-mechanical constructionsExperience
in a production environment with high tech products and complex
production processesWorking knowledge with epoxy application in
opto-mechanical designs is a plusWorking knowledge with
Optical-Electrical sensors is a plusWorking knowledge of diverse
