Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. A part-time physical therapist position is available in a K-12 school located in Winsted, CT, serving students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role spans from ASAP through June 2026 and requires working 1-2 days per week. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic support to students within the school setting, collaborating with educators and staff to promote physical well-being and enhance student participation in educational activities. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver physical therapy services to students across pre-K to 12th grade - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with student needs - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student progress - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes - Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant regulations Qualifications: - Current physical therapy certification/license suitable for school-based practice - Proven experience working as a physical therapist within school environments - Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy modalities and educational collaboration - Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Location: Winsted, Connecticut This role offers an opportunity to contribute positively to the physical development and educational experience of students in a supportive school setting.
